The one thing I’ve learned about being a blogger or an influencer for the short time I’ve done it is you have to be on social media pretty often and have new content 24/7 to keep up.
Well that just isn’t realistic for me and I’m sure the same goes for a lot of people.
I have a husband and 2 boys that keep my house in a state of constant chaos so to take pictures and film all the moments just can’t happen and I don’t want it to.
I don’t want to be so locked in on my phone that I’m not present with my family so here are a few things I have learned to do and batch my time.
1. Use a PRESET for your photos to save tons of time editing
I edit in Lightroom on my phone and use Marina McAvoy’s dream preset. It’s simple and you can do all your editing from your phone. Here is a link if you want to check it out.
You can keep all your photos in the same color scheme and make your feed cohesive.
2. Use an app where you can PREVIEW your feed before you post photos
I use ThePreviewApp.com it’s easy and you can play around with your photos before you post them.
You can swap them around to see what works best. You can also set timers on this to where the App will post your pics at a time you choose, umm yesss please!
3. Time batch your photo shoots
Whether you’re using a photographer, tripod, cell phone or whatever do them all in one block of time on one day.
I know a lot of bloggers look like they get that perfect and ready every single day but I’ll be real with you they don’t.
Prep all your outfits the night before and take pictures of all your looks in that block of time that works for you. I usually do mine during the day while Reece is at school.
Before you know it you’ve knocked out 12 outfits in 2 hours and you are done. It’s way too hard and time consuming to get perfect everyday, have the perfect outfit, get the perfect shot all while trying to live your life.
4. Pre record your IG stories and save them so you’re not on your phone ALL the time
You can have a back stock of videos and pictures to post quickly and you’re back to living you life and being present and in the moment.
It’s all about trying the best you can to find the right balance between your life and being present on social media.
Let me know if you guys have anything you want to add to this list. Im def not an expert but these are just a few tricks I’ve found that make a huge difference.
