You know those people who just radiate confidence? Maybe you are one of those people, maybe your not but either way we could all have a little bit more.
There are plenty of ways to do it but for me the biggest things are self care and knowledge. I know these are two totally opposite ends of spectrum but that’s what makes me feel more confident.
When I know I am in my best shape, hair is on point, lashes, skin etc. I am confident.
When I was pregnant with Reece and 45 pounds heavier than I normally am it was hard. I remember working out in the gym at 36 weeks pregnant with fat swollen feet and seeing a ton of gorgeous and perfectly toned golfers wives working out in their tiny sports bras and I left crying feeling horrible.
That was a really bad day for me but I got over it, I delivered Reece and worked my ass off to get back into shape.
I think everyone has their days where they don’t feel good about themselves. Self care is a big mood booster, at least for me. Go get your hair blown out, go buy a new outfit or heels. Do something that makes you feel good about yourself.
Knowledge is the other one.
Knowledge is power, be interesting and be able to have conversations with people. Read the news, listen to a podcast, read a book, just do something that stimulates your mind. Be like that person who you wish you could be.
Listening to motivational podcasts and speeches really helps. I listen to Tony Robbins podcast a lot. I drive 20 mins back and forth to take Reece to school and I always listen to a podcast that is informative and stimulates my mind.
Being confident is really powerful if you can get there. If all else fails just fake it until you make it.
If you tell yourself something and believe something then over time you will believe it and you will become it.
