My all time go to extensions and easy for ANYONE are good ole clip in extensions. I typically always have a box of these stored somewhere.
I add them in with my tape ins if I want more length or with different hairstyles to add volume, BUT you have to be CAREFUL with clip ins because if you wear them too often THEY WILL break off your hair where the clips are.
When I was like 25 I was wild and single and would sleep in my clip ins all the time and luckily my hair survived it and grew back but be careful.
Go to any hair supply store and buy the solid wefts without clips. You will get a way thicker amount of hair and pay a lot less.
The extensions that are sold with clips already on them are thin so buy the hair that comes on one long weft and measure them to your head, then cut them into individual wefts. Double them up or triple them up on top of each other with hair glue and sew on clips.
Don’t know how to sew? Go to any tailor and they will do it for you. You can buy the needle and hair thread at any beauty supply store.
Are you still with me? Its a lot I know lol.
My roomie back in the day and I use to spend a lot of time doing this process typically drinking wine.
You can also buy the ones that already have clips on them but they are usually super thin. I did a IG TV video on it.
I like to cut the clips off of them and glue them on top of each other to make them thicker and you’ll have less clips in your hair.
You can also customize the colors if you want. You can get creative and add tape ins on top of the clip ins if you can’t find an exact color you want. You can buy tape ins at any hair store too. Get creative with them.
I typically don’t color them or wash them very often because the blonde hair was probably dark at one point and is already over processed.
If you’ve read any of my other hair posts you know I’m not a big fan of washing your hair often anyway.
